City Grounds is a client inspired by and curated for the urban cyclist lifestyle. Whether it is BMX, fixed gear or electric, City Grounds strives to provide its customers with the knowledge (and gear) it needs to off-road, grind or zip the day away.
In collaboration with the Mutesix team, the goal of our 10 monthly emails was to push retention and acquisition objectives. When approaching the design, I opted to lean into the urban and grungy aesthetic, walking hand in hand with the City Grounds branding. Since we had an opportunity to experiment creatively with 10 monthly campaigns, I chose to design a clean, limited color palette, but focus my attention on adding creative additions to the bike or layouts of each section. Working with the internal team, we also implemented effective use of CTA's throughout prevalent campaigns to guide recipients directly to product releases.
